Barbara, we are saddened by the loss of Frank. He was a very devoted family man who loved his country and Clemson. There’s a special place in heaven for people like him. I met him when he was leading the Sumter High JR ROTC regiment. He encouraged the cadets to give back to the Sumter community by Adopting A Highway. I remember him faithfully serving on the local and State Cooperative Extension Service Committees. Johnson Timber Company will miss his visits that brought humor to stressful days. We were blessed to know Frank. We will all miss him. David & Georganne Kirven

Barbara and girls, I am so sad for you all about Frank. He was such a wonderful man. Nothing I can say to make you feel better other than he is with Jesus now. That is a great comfort to know he is healed, no pain or suffering anymore. I Love you all and will keep you in my prayers.

Barbara, Tori and Mandy, I am so sorry you all had to go through a cancer death again. My prayers are with you as grieve and adjust your lives. I worked at SHS while Frank was there; he was a fine man, we’ll respected by students and teachers. When I was junior class advisor we built the homecoming float at the Brown’s. The girls were both upstanding students. Blessings to all.

Barbara, Tori, Mandi and families, Lib and I send our most sincere condolences and are sorry to learn about Frank losing his valiant fight. As you remember, we were good friends and colleagues as Air Force pilots and Command Post directors at Scott and Shaw AFB. Following my retirement in '91 from Shaw, I moved our family back to mid-Missouri. Both our boys followed in Frank and my footsteps and became AF pilots. Rob retired after his 20-yrs flying for AF and is now flying for Southwest Airlines, Brian still has about 2-yrs until his retirement and is currently ADO for T-1 IPs at Vance AFB, OK. We are all doing well and Lib and I are now fully retired, enjoying life and five grandkids. We are holding you and your families in our prayers, and send our most sincere condolences to all the Brown family. Walt and Lib Shull

Pap was such a fine man. His love of country and family were abundant. He was a wonderful role model to his grandchildren and was always so kind and welcoming to Becka at his home and on beach trips with his family. God’s peace .
