My condolences to the Copeland’s , all of you will continue to be in my prayers. As staff with UCP assisting with John in the home of Kendal. It was my pleasure to assist with anything I could have to provide care for the well being of John. John will definitely be missed, by staff, his housemates and UCP as an whole. Rest In Peace John ❤️

John was such a sweet gentle giant! My family always looked forward to seeing him at church on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights. It always melted my heart to hear him yell across the pews "Hey mamma!" and come to give me the sweetest hug. He always had a story to share with me.
I am sitting here smiling thinking of all the times that John would call me to check on me or ask me to take him, Robert, Tony, and Zeb to Carowinds. Such precious memories of him!
I find comfort and peace knowing that he met Jesus face to face yesterday and all of his pain and suffering he experienced here is earth is gone forever! I pray in the days, months, and years to follow that your family will find this same comfort.
Sending my love and prayers!
I am a high school special education teacher and my teacher assistant will be absent Thursday so I will not be able to attend the service; however, your family will be in my thoughts and prayers!

John was a very nice man! I enjoyed attending church with him and will miss seeing him on the front row every Sunday! I pray your family can take comfort in knowing that John shared a close personal relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and that he is resting in heaven with Him now.
In Christ,
