Obituary of Adlia Stevenson Pace, Jr.

Adlia Stevenson “Steve” Pace, Jr., 87, widower of Nancy Lawless Pace, died Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at Prisma Health Richland Hospital. Born in Sumter, he was a son of the late Adlia Stevenson Pace, Sr. and Selma Pace. Mr. Pace was a member of Faith Presbyterian Church. He was a U. S. Army veteran and retired from General Telephone Company. Surviving is a son, Adlia Stevenson Pace, III of Boone, NC; two daughters, Carol Annette Pace of Sumter and Tami Pace Eleftheriou of Bluffton, SC; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Cynthia Ray Pace. Private graveside services will be held in the Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery.
