Obituary of Walter Roger Brashear

Walter Roger Brashear, 83, husband of Joan Morgan Brashear, died Monday, February 7, 2022, at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital. Born in Los Angeles, CA, he was a son of the late Walter Roger Brashear and Grace Flemming Brashear. Mr. Brashear was a U. S. Army Vietnam veteran. He retired from Crescent Tool Company. Mr. Brashear performed as a country music musician and lead guitarist as “Walt Rogers”. Surviving are his wife of 49 years; two step-daughters, Tina Lynn Kirby and Renee LaFrom; one step-son, Billy Sliger, Jr.; and numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be held at a later date.
