Although John was my cousin, growing up we were more like brothers! Yes, we did almost everything together, and those are very special memories, including but not limited to: setting Second Mill on fire; chasing the spray man on our bikes; playing football together at his house and in Henry Barnett's back yard; walking to Young's to get candy; travelling to England , Scotland, and Paris together after college, each of us losing 15 pounds; going together in Acapulco to the Senorita Ranch; hiking around his neighborhood with mayonnaise sandwiches made by Aunt Emily; going to Garden City Beach every summer, enjoying every wave; and so on.
Let me just say this. John was a strong, athletic, and caring person that will be greatly missed. He fought a valiant battle against his cancer. But John Moise, the wonderful person, will live forever in our memories.
