Erica,
My family and I are so very sorry to hear of your Mom’s death.
Please know we are keeping you, your family, and all who personally knew your Mom in our prayers. Among other things, we pray that you all take comfort in knowing Jehovah’s promises for the future; especially knowing that your Mom is now in Jehovah’s memory. And remembering Jehovah’s assurances of the resurrection in the near future of those who are now “sleeping” in death.
Praying that such reminders will help ease the sting/pain that you all are feeling now.
We are looking forward to meeting her in the new system!

To my loving dear sister. I will miss you greatly. Words cannot express how I feel about not seeing you before you passed away. You were the historian of the family, you always had a love for your family and could pick out a family member just by looking at them in a store. I will not say goodbye but see you soon Rev.21:3,4. I love you very much your "BIG" brother Haskell

Serene, tempered, soothing, calm, respectable, worthy... that was my Auntie Maude. A lady that could upgrade a room full of people with just her presence... no words needed because her smile, yes, that smile, and those eyes spoke volumes. Yet, when her voice rang, peace was felt… like a warm cup of herbal tea outside on a porch swing at sunset. She was a whole mood, a whole vibe, a whole meal …. she filled hearts with joy beyond compare and I will miss her for the rest of my life. I will never not remember my beautiful Auntie Maude. Until paradise, rest well….

Absolutely nothing can prepare you for the death of a loved one. My heart is heavy and my prayers of comfort goes out to all, especially Uncle C and my cousins. Auntie Maude was very special and extremely classy (she made sure that every reunion had a formal night that showcased family eligance). Definitely the family historian and just like Niecy said, family namegiver. I am proud to bear the name she gave me and not be called Atishah. I have many fond memories that I will cherish, especially how she laughed when I said Bill Baker was BLUE. Being an aunt, I understand the depth of an Aunt's love....grateful for my Aunty Maude.

Auntie Maude will truly be missed! She was a wonderful woman! Beautiful inside & out. She always had an infectious laugh, that would instantly brighten your day. She always shared loving stories of my mom & dad (Johnnie Mae & Henry) of their days hanging out as young adults. How much fun they had together. When she told a story she always made you feel like you were right there experiencing it all. I will always love auntie Maude for given me my middle name "Marcella". I will cherish her memories forever! Rest auntie Rest! Loving you always,
Niecy

I want to start by saying that I will truly miss my aunt Maude. I absolutely love her sweet and comforting voice to hear her say my whole name every time we spoke. She said it with so much love that It always warmed my heart, Jacqueline.
