Obituary of Morstine Cecil

Morstine Cecil, 73, wife of Connie Cecil, died Monday, April 18, 2022, at her home. Born in Sumter, she was a daughter of the late Haskell I. Colclough, Sr. and Essie Mae Richardson Colclough. Mrs. Cecil was a member of the Sumter West Jehovah’s Witness Congregation. She was a retired Supervisor with the U. S. Postal Service. Surviving are her husband of Sumter; two daughters, Jesica Williams of Charlotte, NC and Erica Pierson of Savannah, GA; a son, Kyle Pierson of Savannah, GA; four brothers, Haskell I. Colclough, Jr. of GA; Hzkiah Colclough, Theodore Colclough and Tom Andy Colclough all of NJ; three sisters, Carol Ann Finch of Sumter; Annie Mae Tillery of DE and Diana Colclough Baker of NJ; ten grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Marc Pierson; a daughter, Monica Moon; a granddaughter, Andrea Pierson; four sisters and one brother. Memorial Services will be held at 1 P.M. Wednesday, April 27, 2022, in the Chapel of the Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home with Elder Hzkiah Colclough officiating.
