I’m a pharmaceutical representative that used to call on Blaine a few years ago. Blaine was hands down one of the best providers I got to meet with. We’d often share lunch together and crackup the whole time. He was such a blessing to have here on earth, and was a strong man of faith. I know his family misses him dearly. He is with his Father in heaven now. Love you Blaine!

While I only had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Varner once (I did some work on his guitar back in late 2022), it was a privilege getting to spend some time listening to him play and sing some of his songs for me when the work was completed and he returned to pick up his guitar. My deepest condolences to his family, friends, and co-workers; I could tell that he was a special guy!

My mom, Elaine Kearns and I are parishioners at Saint Katharine Drexel Catholic Community, in Cape Coral, FL, where Father Ricky Varner is our Pastor. Our prayers are for the entire family, due to thisthis senseless tragedy. Blaine you will be deeply missed. I think about you in the mornings pulling in the parking lot at work bc we’d normally arrive around the same time, and you’d hold the door for me while I held fifty things in my hands lol or if I beat you to it, I held it for you! I recently asked for your buffalo chicken dip again and I’ll never get the chance to savor the flavor of the best buffalo chicken dip ever! My sincerest condolences to the Varner family. I met Blaine at his wedding to my dear friend Kristen. Although this was the first time, I had met him, I could see the glow in Kristen’s eyes at that beautiful ceremony. Over the years I heard how happy he made Kristen and what a wonderful father he was to all his children. Losing someone you cherish is difficult, but I am most certain he will continue smiling down and looking over his family and friends.

I served in the Air Force with Blaine in the late 1980s. We were stationed at Misawa AB, Japan. We kept in touch for many years. I always looked forward to seeing one of his songs hit the Billboard charts. I'm saddened to hear of this senseless loss. While we have not talked in several years, I knew wherever Blaine was, I had a friend there. He was always one of the good guys. He will be missed.

My mom, his dad were brother and sister, hence we were cousins. Growin up as kids, my family would fly out from Arizona to Michigan for a 2 week visit. Blaine and I always had so much fun riding bicycles, mini bikes or motorcycles in the woods behind his backyard. We always managed to get ourselves in trouble with our parents when we were together. I grew up playin’ the fiddle (violin). With Blaine on guitar, each summer we got together to entertain the Varner and Cassaday families. Those memories will live in my heart forever! He helped me learn to love playin music for anybody that would listen. I’m now goin on 60 years old and still play for audiences today in Arizona. Thank you for helping me come out of my shell . You will always be in my heart. Go with God now and I will see you again soon! Our love to Kristen and all the kids. Your Cousin, Jeff Cassaday- Mesa Arizona.

I had the privilege of knowing Blaine for the past few years as his patient. He was kind, respectful, understanding and always had a smile on his face. He would say, if you need anything between appointments get on that patient portal and send me a message.
He was an excellent Dr, and we will all miss him dearly..

So sad to hear of Blaine’s passing. My husband and I were dear friends of Blaine’s parents, Earl and Helen. A friend called us to inform us that Helen had passed after a long battle with cancer and than we find out Blaine had died. Our prayers go out to the Varner family and friends!

I am shocked and saddened by the news of the loss of your Blaine. He was one of my best friends in Misawa on the Air Force base there. From the moment I met him our friendship clicked. There was not a day that went by without hearing from him while I lived in Misawa. He always came by to see me and my ex husband and joined us most nights for dinner. We had a joke that he knew when it was dinner time. He always had his guitar and never disappointed on that heavenly voice of his. He could take my new cd or album and learn the songs in no time flat. We loved going to his bike completions through tour the area in Japan. When he pcs’d from Japan I drove him to the MAC Terminal for his flight out of Misawa. He was such a good friend to both of us. I will never ever forget Blaine. Sending you love and prayers. May your memories of him bring you joy and comfort in the coming days, weeks and months. God Bless.

Unfortunately I never got the chance to know you very well, but I’ve been blessed to know your daughter Bethany. We’ve met a few times and you’ve always been kind and had a smile on your face.
I may not know much about you personally, but I know you have 3 amazing children who light up this world. I know you've done a great job raising them, I know you’ve had patients who adore you, I know you’re loyal, caring and loving.

I met Blaine Varner when I became the Spanish Interpreter at Tandem Health. Blaine was an amazing soul. His words were always positive and sincere. He was filled with laughter and brightness daily. He treated his patients with so much love and understanding. I had the unique and special privilege to say the words he spoke to his patients in Spanish. When ever I interpreted for him, he always made my patients laugh and feel cared for. They always left feeling like everything would be alright. In fact those were the last words he spoke to my daughter on a visit. She will always remember as he said his last words to her with a big smile, "You're gonna do great things, and everything will be alright"
