It was with deep regret that I saw the intimation of Dicks death,I had the pleasure of staying with Dick whilst I was on a Rotary exchange programme in 1994 and his friendship and kindness will never be forgotten. We had the pleasure to remain friends for a number of years and visited Sumter and received Dick and his family over in Scotland where we had some good times and fond memories. We kept in contact and it was while checking on his well being that I found this notice and whilst it was really sad to hear of Dicks death I know that he lived a good life and he will always be in our families memories especially the time we spent in Sumter.
I know Dick was religious and lived a good christian life and know that he is now at peace.
The whole family were sad to hear of his passing however we all have great memories of a great man who was generous and gave his time without wanting anything in return.
My belated sincere condolences to all of the family.God Bless you
We all raised a glass of whisky in his honour and memory as is the custom in Scotland

My condolences to the Lee family. I know this is a difficult time for the family and I pray God comforts and strengthens the family during this time of bereavement. May the many cherished and loving memories of Richard comfort his family and friends. A comforting thought to keep in mind is at Psalm 46:1 "God is our refuge and strength. A help that is readily found in times of distress." The family is in my prayers.

So sorry hearing of the family loss, may family and friends find comfort from Revelation 21:4 " when death will be no more."

Becky - Susan and I are grieving with you and your family over Dick's passing. Since we moved to Sumter, Dick has been so kind and a gracious neighbor and friend to us, our children and grandchildren. We will miss him greatly. Please know that we are here for you during this time and beyond. Our prayers are ongoing to our God for your comfort and strength. "Casting all your care upon him; for he cares for you." (1 Peter 5:7)
